A Week To Play

I was on vacation this past week and was able to spend a lot of time at my craft desk...AKA my Kloset. My PTI order showed up on my second day and I was beyond excited. A whole week to play with my new goodies. I just wish it didn't take me hours to create one card. Here is one of the many I was able to create.

I am in love with the new set from Melissa J...Sending You. The versatility is amazing. And of course the matching die is the bomb.

It's hard to tell in this picture but I created a couple of raised layers.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Kreations.

A Card And Box To Match

My dear friend Michelle is having a baby girl...Reece Olivia. She follows my blog I had to wait until after her baby shower to blog them.

While doing some clean up at work a few month back we found two stacks of take out boxes. Score for me!

Believe it or not there are three outfits in there. They were a litle wrinkled when she took them out...haha.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Kreations,

Make It Monday #5: Distressing Edges

Man oh man...another challenge way outside my comfort zone. Don't get me wrong, I love the distressed look but just never do it. I get in a rut and before you know it all my cards start to look similar. The Make It Monday challenges have been really good for me.

Here is my card.

I distressed the edges and showed it to my husband and daugter and they told me it wasn't distressed enough. So, I distressed it some more...haha.

Thank you for taking a look and as always Happy Kreations,

Deanna

Totally Hues Challenge #3

Here is my very first color challenge. Talk about going outside my comfort zone on colors. The challenge was difficult but I enjoyed venturing out and trying something new. I stuggle with colors so this was so helpful for me.

Here is what I came up with.

I don't normally work with such bright colors. The first think I thought of was birthday presents. So that's what I did.

Thank you Heather for a great set of colors. Be sure to stop by Heather's blog and see what everybody else has done.

Heaven Sent

There must be something in the water because there are a lot of babies on the way. I figured I better make some cards. Here is a card that will work for a little boy or a little girl.

I stamped the elephant on the mat stack 1 die cut out then again on the polka dot paper. I cut out the one I stamped on the polka dot paper and attached it over the other stamped image using foam tape. There was no way I was going to try to cut out the tail...haha. To get the layer being the mat stack 1 die I taped it to my piece of spring moss card stock and hand cut around it.

Make It Monday #4 Creating With Fun Foam

Okay, I actually had to go out and purchase some fun foam so I could play along. Can the design team get anymore creative? Oh to have the talent these ladies do. I just want to spend a day with them...maybe rub up against them...rub some of that creativity on to me. Do you think it will work?

Well anyways, here is what I came up with. I have to admit..the foam was really fun to work with. I happen to get lucky and found a perfect match for the new Royal Velvet color from PTI.

The new button die is AMAZING! The foam is the perfect thickness too. I stamped the button with the new Bitty Background Blocks....how fun it that.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Happy Kreations!
